Abstract
The unoccupied density of states of has been studied with inverse photoemission. We observe a shift of the Fermi level out of the d band in agreement with experimental results on the occupied density of states and band-structure calculations. However, in contrast to what would be expected from the band-structure calculations we do not find a hydrogen-induced peak above the Fermi level. We propose different explanations for this disagreement between experiment and theory.
