Abstract
The authors have used a multilevel coding technique to construct run-length limited (RLL) trellis codes with error-correcting capabilities. The constructed codes have better performance than the RLL trellis codes previously proposed, in terms of error correcting capabilities, coding rates and decoding complexitiesKeywords
