Abstract

Summary “Spontaneous” lipolysis in rat epididymal fat pads is markedly affected by mono- or divalent cations, in the decreasing order K > Cs = NH₄ = Choline > Ca = Na > Li = Mg. This response is independent of the buffer employed.
