Abstract
Expressions for the concentration of Rn and Th daughters in indoor air are derived. The exhalation rate and diffusion processes of building materials, room dimensions and ventilations rates, were used to estimate that the mean Rn and Th daughter concentrations in indoor air are 0.10 pCi/l and 0.0064 pCi/l, respectively. These values corresponded to a lung dose equal to 126 mrem/yr.This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
