Abstract
We have used a new complete redshift survey of ~170 QSOs to investigate QSO clustering. We have determined the QSO clustering correlation function ξqq over the range of separations $$0\lt r \leqslant 1000\,{h}^{-1}$$ Mpc (comoving). At small scales $$(0\lt r \leqslant 1000\,{h}^{-1}\,\text{Mpc})$$ we have tentatively detected QSO clustering at a level stronger than that expected for galaxies on a simple ‘stable’ model for galaxy clustering evolution. At larger scales $$(10\lt r \leqslant 1000\,{h}^{-1}\,\text{Mpc})$$ our observed correlation function is close to zero, placing strong new constraints on the homogeneity of the Universe.
