Abstract
Hyperparathyroidism and peptic ulcer occurring together in a 10-year-old child in association with a traumatic fracture of the femur is reported. The patient recovered uneventfully after the removal of a parathyroid adenoma. The authors point out that, because of the rarity of peptic ulcer in children, it would be wise to carry out at least one serum C and P determination in a search for associated hyperparathyroidism. Keywords
