Abstract
After a 5 year effort it was found impractical to utilize this parasite in biological control of the greenhouse or celery leaf tier, Phlyctaenia rubigalis. A new race of Trichogramma parasitic on the eggs of the larger canna leaf roller, Calpqdes ethlius, was found. The factors determining the winter activity of the race common to Fla. celery district based especially on the colder winter of 1930-31 were ascertained, and certain difficulties experienced in the mass production of this parasite were disclosed. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
