Abstract
A conceptual framework for the development of child-centered, preventive clinical services for divorcing families is presented. The structure and components of an intervention service--including treatment strategies, successful interventions, failures, therapist role, transference and countertransference responses, and professional dilemmas--are discussed.Keywords
