Abstract
Thermistor bead thermometers and anemometers were used to record the micrometeorological changes in temperatures and wind speeds in the jungles of Panama. Twenty-four hour continuous observations were made through a layer of atmosphere up to 160 feet from which temperature and wind-speed gradients were determined above and below the canopy. Graphs are supplied to show hourly and vertical trends.Keywords
