Abstract
A shell-model study of the system previously performed with purely central forces was repeated using both the Tabakin and Sussex interactions. Agreement with the experimental spectrum improved. Some shift of the strength to the lower of the 1-, levels occurred, but the bulk of the strength remained in the state at higher energy. Over-all results achieved with the Sussex interaction were comparable to those obtained using the Tabakin potential.
