Abstract
The authors describe how the power efficiency of an LINC transmitter is affected by the modulation scheme when using a conventional power combiner to recombine the constant envelope signals. The efficiency originating from the recombining peak at 60% for low-level modulation schemes but decreases to below 20% for high level schemes. Keywords
