Abstract
Quality of care for depression in managed primary care settings is moderate to poor1,2 with resultant poor outcomes.3 Because depression is expected to be the second leading cause of disability worldwide after the turn of the century,4 improving care for this prevalent disorder could enhance quality of life and productivity for many primary care patients.Keywords
