Abstract
Cinephotography of the dissected pharynx and larynx demonstrates discriminate respiratory motions in the arytenoid and adjacent pharyngeal constrictor musculature. These motions vary progressively with etherization. The usefulness and probable limitation of this method of experimental myology in comparative studies of the pharynx and larynx is demonstrated and discussed. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
