Abstract
This paper reports results of analysis of circulating air in army barracks by open-plate methods for bacteria, investigating relationship to cleaning, dusting, oiling of floors, sneezing, etc. Streptococci were found particularly in relationship to known carriers, with contamination of their surroundings. General bacterial counts were increased by crowding and procedures which increased circulating dust particles. Keywords
