Abstract
The first synthesis of an unsymmetrical tetrathiafulvalene derivative by a mixed coupling reaction has been achieved; the resulting diester (7) has been demethoxycarbonylated to the highly unsymmetrical benzotetrathiafulvalene (8).Keywords
