Abstract
A case of long-standing hyperglobulinemic purpura eventuating in xanthoma tuberosum, hyperlipidemia, and myeloma is presented. Laboratory studies disclosed marked elevations of serum cholesterol, triglycerides, fatty acids, and β2-globulin. Bone marrow examination confirmed the diagnosis of multiple myeloma. The causal relationship of the myeloma protein to the hyperlipidemia is discussed. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
