Abstract
Computerized Profiling, a microcomputer software package for constructing linguistic profiles, is described and evaluated. The software contains modules for creating a corpus file and for analysing that file using the LARSP, PROP, PRISM-L, and PROPH procedures (Crystal, 1982). Supplementary analyses available for grammar are Developmental Sentence Scoring (Lee, 1976), Verb Valency and Verb-form Analysis (Fletcher, 1985); for phonology, a phonological process analysis (Grunwell, 1982) can be done. The software is designed to make profiling easier and faster for both experienced and novice clinicians. Keywords
