Abstract
The pharmacological properties of a new intramuscular iron preparation containing 50 mg. of iron as an iron-sorbitol-citrate complex has been studied in animal experiments. The acute cardiovascular effects of intravenous injections, as well as toxicity in mice and rabbits, are reported. The preparation is stable in vivo and has no apparent antigenic propertiesKeywords
