Abstract
Discusses a simple model of a kink bearing Hamiltonian with a new non-linear potential V( phi ,r) whose shape can be varied continuously as a function of the parameter r and which has the sine-Gordon potential as a particular case. Two classes of implicit solitary wave (kink) solutions that depend on r are calculated exactly. The rest masses and rest energies of the kinks are also determined. Keywords
