Abstract
The coexistence curve of well-characterized polydisperse polystyrene in cyclohexane ( =23.9× , / =2.8) was measured near the critical point, where and are weight- and number-average molecular weights, respectively. The shape of the coexistence curve was expressed by the critical exponent =0.363±0.005, which agrees with the exponent of Fisher's renormalization for the Ising system with hidden variables.
