Coexistence curve of a polydisperse polymer solution near the critical point

Abstract
The coexistence curve of well-characterized polydisperse polystyrene in cyclohexane (Mw =23.9×104 , Mw /Mn =2.8) was measured near the critical point, where Mw and Mn are weight- and number-average molecular weights, respectively. The shape of the coexistence curve was expressed by the critical exponent Βt =0.363±0.005, which agrees with the exponent of Fisher's renormalization for the Ising system with hidden variables.
