Abstract
Summary: Urinary glycosaminoglycan excretion relative to creatinine is high during the neonatal period reaching a peak in the second week of life and thereafter declining throughout childhood. The difficulty in early diagnosis of the mucopolysaccharidoses during the neonatal period is emphasized.Keywords
