Abstract
A case of postpartum paraplegia due to tuberculosis of the spine is reported. The patient presented with postpartum haemorrhage and paraplegia on the 8th postpartum day. She had weakness of both lower limbs on the 4th postpartum day and was unable to walk on the 7th day. Investigations revealed a tuberculous lesion of the thoracic spine. She was treated with chemotherapy and physiotherapy and recovered fully within seven months. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
