Abstract
Dogs fed raw camel meat containing 2 types of cysts shed unsporulated H. heydorni oocysts and later sporulated Sarcocystis sporocysts in their feces, but were resistant to reinfection with the Hammondia cysts. Sporulated H. heydorni oocysts did not induce an enteroepithelial cycle in dogs, but resulted in the formation of the muscle cysts. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
