Abstract
A provisional outline of the evolution of the Natujian Culture is presented. This is based upon the variations of the frequency of bifacial retouch among the lunates and of the mean length of the same tools. Both attributes show a tendency to decrease during the period. Carbon 14 dates corroborate the chronological meaning of these modifications. The microburin technique is present in both lower and upper Natufian assemblages. Keywords
