Abstract

A procedure is described for the stimulating of any region of the C.N.S. of an animal by electrical means while it is free to move about within the restricted region of a small cage. The animal can then be given visual, tactual, auditory or faradic stimuli in combination with electrical stimulation of the C.N.S.
