Abstract
Expressions for the wave-energy density and wave-momentum density of each species of a collisionless plasma are derived. The sum of the wave-energy (momentum) densities of all the species and the electromagnetic-energy (momentum) density gives the previously known result for the total wave-energy (momentum) density of a dispersive medium. Keywords
