Abstract
The purpose of the Standard is to provide human factors engineering design principles and detailed criteria. The design principles are expressed as general rules applicable during missile system research and development programs, or as essential items to be considered during design, to insure the incorporation of sound human factors engineering practices. The detailed criteria consist of dimensions, ranges, tolerances and other specific data. The range of acceptable dimensions and other factors may be rather large in some cases. Keywords
