Abstract
A photoelastic investigation of the stresses around edge cracks in a tensile field, is described. The influence of isoclinics on the accuracy of stress intensity coefficients is demonstrated, and the results are compared with theoretical values obtained using the collocation method. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
