Abstract
An insoluble catalytic assembly consisting of a silicate xerogel covalently modified with phenyl groups and quaternary ammonium–polyoxometalate ion pairs was used to catalyse the oxidation of alkenes with 30% aqueous hydrogen peroxide in the absence of an organic solvent.Keywords
