$η γ$ Decays of $ρ^{0}$ , $ω$ , and $ϕ$ Mesons

Abstract

η γ

decays of

ρ^{0}

,

ω

, and

ϕ

are studied. We find

Γ (ϕ \to η γ) = 55 \pm 12

keV. Our data admit two solutions for

(ρ^{0}, ω) \to η γ

: Either

Γ (ρ^{0} \to η γ) = 50 \pm 13

keV,

Γ (ω \to η γ) = {3.0}_{- 1.8}^{+ 2.5}

keV, and the

(ω, ρ) \to η γ

relative decay phase is near zero; or

Γ (ρ^{0} \to η γ) = 76 \pm 15

keV,

Γ (ω \to η γ) = 29 \pm 7

keV, and the decay phase is near 180°.
