Abstract
The potential of EM in the study of ureteral dilatation is seldom exploited but ureteral biopsies from 29 [patients with] congenitally dilated ureters were examined under light microscopy and EM. A correlation between the pathological findings and the result of the surgical correction of these ureters was shown. The prospects of ureteral functional recovery was predicted when the muscle cell integrity was considered. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
