Abstract
Calculations of the binding energies of -shell hypernuclei have been carried out treating all the nucleons and the self-consistently. The Tabakin potential is used for the interaction and a simple central force which fits scattering is used for the system. The binding energies obtained exceed those observed. The dynamical aspects of the hypernuclear system are also discussed, as well as various correction terms. Finally, a comparison is made with other hypernuclear calculations.
