Abstract
The piezoeffect of Pb(Zr, Ti)O3 ceramics is due to three mechanisms: the intrinsic piezoeffect, the movement of the 90° type domain walls, and the movement of boundaries between the tetragonal and rhombohedral phases coexisting in these ceramics. The main problem of piezoceramic physics is a quantitative evaluation of the contribution of these mechanisms. Some methods of evaluation are discussed. Keywords
