Abstract
The incidence of immediate and delayed hypersensitivity to Candida albicans in 45 patients with denture stomatitis and 100 control patients was investigated. No increase in this incidence was found; it is suggested, therefore, that allergy to the fungus is probably not the cause of denture stomatitis. Keywords
