Abstract
A Luttinger-liquid fixed point is obtained in the strong-coupling limit of the one-dimensional Kondo-lattice model with a frustrating next-nearest-neighbor hopping. The Luttinger-liquid phase has a large Fermi surface whose area is determined by the total number of conduction electrons and localized spins. A numerical study for finite systems shows that the paramagnetic ground state of the finite Kondo lattice model away from half-filling is adiabatically connected with this fixed point. Keywords
