Abstract
In Chatham County, Georgia, tests with cotton cords (3/32" diameter) impregnated with Ronnel Dow ET-57) provided 10 to 16 weeks of satisfactory to excellent house fly control in 9 of the 10 dairies studied. Ronnel is the first organophosphorus compound of low mammalian toxicity to be effective as a cord impregnant. The results compare favorably with those obtained previously with parathion or Diazinon (O O-diethyl O-(2-isopropyl-4-methyl-6-pyrimidinyl) phosphorothioate) treated cords. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
