Abstract

¹³C NMR spectra of 1,3-dithiolylium tetrafluoroborate and related compounds are recorded. The ¹³C spectra offer firm proof for the presence of aromatic character in the 1,3-dithiolylium ring, which was deduced from the ¹H NMR spectral data.
