Beta Decay of Hyperons

The formulas for spin and angular correlations in hyperon $\beta$ decay are brought into forms which can give specific information about the character of possible deviations from the universal $\mathrm{SU}\left(3\right)\mathrm{}$ scheme. The recent experimental results for $\Lambda$-particle $\beta$ decay are discussed qualitatively in terms of the proposed combinations of integrated correlation coefficients.
