Abstract
An experimental coulometric system was devised for continuously and automatically titrating chlorine bleach solutions ranging in concentration from 20 ppm up to about 3%. The titrating reagent was produced cathodically, and the coulometric cell current at equivalence was a measure of concentration. The special cell construction provided about ±1% measurement accuracy throughout the concentration range. Difficulties in holding the titration solution at the required condition of equivalence were met by means of a function‐generating circuit in the automatic control system. Keywords
