Abstract
A search has been performed for the lepton-flavor-nonconserving reaction +Ti→+Ti using a time-projection chamber. No candidate events were observed, resulting in a limit of Γ(+Ti→+Ti) / Γ(+Ti→capture) <1.6× (90% C.L.) for this reaction relative to ordinary muon capture.
