Anisotropy of the electron momentum distributions in Nb

Abstract
Anisotropies of the Compton profiles of -phase Nb have been measured. A reduction in the measured anisotropy compared to pure Nb is interpreted as evidence that the hydrogen donates its electron to the Nb conduction band.
