Abstract
Rectangular planar resonator is analyzed by using the magnetic walls model. A novel square planar resonator with double-corner cuts is presented. The resonant performances of planar resonators are calculated and analyzed. A novel planar dual-mode bandpass filter with double-corner cuts, an improved novel dual-mode bandpass filter using a pair of unequal crossed slots, and a novel trapezoidal planar bandpass filter with wideband are also presented, and their filter performances are simulated and analyzed. The proposed filters have outstanding virtues such as novel and simple structures as they have single patch without coupling gaps, small volume, low loss and so on.Keywords
