Abstract
We analyze K±π±π0γ and KL,S0π+πγ decays in connection with the explanation of the ΔI=12 rule proposed by Shifman, Vainshtein, and Zakharov. We ask whether the mechanism which enhances the ΔI=12 transition can enhance K±π±π0γ, thus contradicting the experimental observation Γ(K±π±π0γ) (απ)Γ(K±π±π0). We show, within the same approximation scheme used in the ΔI=12 rule analysis, that the ΔI=12 rule enhancement is absent in the decay K±π±π0γ.
