Effect of Storage Conditions on Activities of Urease, Invertase, Amylase, and Dehydrogenase in Soil

Abstract
There were no significant decreases in the activities of urease, invertase, and amylase after 30 days' storage of an Oklahoma mollisol at 4C. However, storage at room temperature (21C) was unsatisfactory. Significant loss in activity was noted in the case of dehydrogenase after 15 and 30 days of soil storage at both 4C and room temperature. Fresh soil was used for assay of dehydrogenase.
