Abstract
IN 1935 a plan was inaugurated in Connecticut whereby duplicate copies of hospital records of patients with cancer were made available to the Division of Cancer Research of the Connecticut Department of Health. This was a joint undertaking sponsored by the Tumor Committee and the Association of Tumor Clinics of the Connecticut State Medical Society, the general hospitals of the state, and the State Department of Health.
