Abstract
A genetic association between amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and a number of skeletal and neurological abnormalities is suggested. The latter include: microtia and bilateral hand deformities involving the middle and index fingers, deaf-mutism, spastic quadreplegia, ataxic quadreplegia with mental deficiency, and funnel chest. Keywords
