Abstract
The oxidation of cyano-Gilman cuprates, derived from dibromodithienyl sulfide, dibromodithienyldimethylsilane and dibromodithienylmethane, with molecular oxygen furnishes 10-membered ring cyclophanes selectively and an X-ray analysis of cyclophane 9 reveals that it possesses an anti conformation. Keywords
