Abstract
Preparation of enemata with effervescent prednisolone tablets in tap water, and administration with a 60 ml bladder syringe through a rubber catheter are preferred by patients over bulky ready-made solutions given with disposable plastic enema bags through a plastic nozzle, which are more expensive.
