Abstract
The article by Dr. Thurman and his co-workers in the South Western Cooperative Group reported in this issue of the Journal presents the fruits of some New England plantings. The concept that chemotherapy can be of significant help in the management of tumors, a first cause of death in children, was given root and nurture at the Boston's Children's Cancer Research Foundation (Jimmy Fund).
