Abstract
Recent work has shown a great variability in the nutritive value of different cereal straws. Tuah et al (1986) examined a number of cereal varieties including barley, oats, wheat and triticale. Ramanzin et al. (1986) examined the extent to which these effects could be explained by differences in leaf:stem ratio and that the nutritive value of leaves were far greater value than straw. Keywords
